Educational Psychology Services

Objective

Our school provides a school-based educational psychology service, with an educational psychologist stationed on campus one to two days per week. The educational psychologist offers remedial, preventive, and developmental support at the student, teacher, and school system levels in accordance with the school’s needs and development. The aim is to enhance students’ learning, social, and emotional competencies.

Service Features

1. Student Support Level

  • Conducting educational psychological assessments for students
  • Providing individual or group counseling for students in need, collaborating with teachers, social workers, and therapists to implement behavior management, social skills training, and emotional support programs
  • Organizing parent workshops and meetings to foster home-school cooperation in addressing students’ learning and life adaptation needs

2. Teacher Support Level

  • Assisting teachers in early identification and support for students with learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Conducting professional development activities for teachers to address students’ personal, social, and academic needs

3. School System Level

  • To support the school in refining policies and mechanisms to accommodate learning diversity and the educational needs of different students
  • To support the school in developing policy and mechanism on crisis management, and providing support for crisis intervention when necessary
