Learning and teaching

Upholding the principle of being “student-centric”, our school-based curriculum realizes students’ potential through moral, intelligent, physical, social and aesthetic development. Students’ ability to live independently and capability to work are developed for their better integration into the community.

Curriculum Structure

Under the same curricula structure, our curriculum follows the macro trend of education and direction of school-based development. We devise a balanced and broad curriculum according to the needs, ability and interest of our students.

Our school has implemented a lesson plan (self-regulated learning) which aims at nurturing the mentality and ability for students to learn by themselves, to enhance their ownership of study and achieve the goal of lifelong learning.

Our school adopts diversified assessment methods to better understand students’ performance and provide effective feedback to facilitate learning. For instance, there are self-assessment, peer assessment, assessment by parents, etc.
